No, not gay, as you call it. I think it's quite normal in most schools for the children to take a shower together. So, if it be gay, there are a few types that will surprise you. Sometimes it's hard because in the midst of puberty and penis has a mind of its own life. Sometimes it is. Do not make a big part of it and not draw attention to themselves. It is always a fear. If you wait, and a shower with guys, if you can check is a little gay, or at least funny. However, a shower after gym class is just good hygiene.
