I read recently that the Barbie fashion line (black) sold at a price below the whites. I am really surprised. That is what I read:

It's a bit shocking, but I can not say I'm surprised.
Being "white" in the world of entertainment and is considered a sign of beauty.
Blacks also are trying to attract this demographic group, with straight hair / tissue, etc., etc.
